시놉시스

자신의 모태에서 불구의 몸으로 태어난 새끼의 힘겨운 삶을 지켜봐야 하는 한 여자와 그 어미만이 세상으로 향한 유일한 출구이기에 필사적으로 그 어미의 등에 매달리는 한 아이의 모습을 통해서 처절한, 그래서 더욱 뭉클한 삶의 한 단면을 그린 작품이다.

Through one woman who has to keep watching tough life of her baby born with deformity in her womb, and one child clinging desperately on the mother’s back because the mother is the only gateway toward the world, it is the work which pictured one phase of life extremely sad, even more choked with grief.

기획의도

우리들의 척박한 삶은 대부분 빠져나갈 수 없는올가미 같은 현실일 때가 많다. 그리고 우리는 그 속에서 올가미에 걸린 동물처럼 몸부림치거나 신음하며 살아간다. 그것이 우리의 삶이라는 생각을 나는 떨쳐버릴 수가 없다. 그러나 그 삶이 내게는 하나의 비장한 아름다움으로 다가온다. 그 비장한 아름다움을 느낄 수 있는 섬광 같은 삶의 단면을 여기 한 모자를 통해 그려보고 싶다.

Our barren life is put in the reality like caught in the trap, mostly inescapable many times. And in that reality, we are living, struggling or groaning like the animal entrapped. I cannot rid the thinking that this is our life. But, that life comes up to me as one tragic beauty. I want to picture a phase of life like a flash which makes you feel the tragic beauty through one mother and son here.
