시놉시스

어린 딸과 함께 며칠째 방안에서 굶고 있는 종석은 걸음이 불편한 디스크 환자이다. 굶고 있을 수만은 없던 종석은 동냥질을 하러 밖으로 나가지만 어쭙잖은 동냥질과 자기 모멸감에 동냥질을 그만둔다. 집으로 돌아온 종석은 강도질을 하기 위해 다시 칼을 들고 나가 이곳 저곳을 돌아다니지만 높은 담들과 닫혀진 대문 앞에 좌절을 한다. 그렇게 돌아다니던 종석은 우연히 대문이 없는 집에 들어섰다가 마음 좋은 할머니에게 물 한잔을 얻어 마시고 거사를 포기한다.

Jong Suk is starving with his little daughter in his room for several days, and he is a disk patient who is uncomfortable to walk. He couldn’t keep starving, so he went outside to beg food, but, he stops begging because of ridiculous begging and self-contempt. After coming back home, he goes out again to rob with a knife and goes round here and there, but, he gets frustrated in front of high walls and locked doors. While Jong Suk is roaming about, he entered into the house without a door by chance, he begs a glass of water to a kind old woman, and gives up his revolt

기획의도

경제가 어려워짐에 따라 비곤층은 점점 늘어만 가는 우리 사회. 한 가난한 인물의 좌충우돌을 통해 우리 현실의 한 조각을 표현하고 싶었다.
