시놉시스

이 다큐멘타리는 나찌 정권이 장애를 가진 사람들을 다루는데 있어서 얼마나 끔찍하였는지를 사실적으로 다루고 있다. 미국과 유럽의 우생학적 이데올로기에 대한 개관을 시작으로 제작자는 처음에는 장애를 가진 사람들의 신체에 가해졌고, 이후 강제 수용서에서 되풀이되어 행해졌던 대량학살의 기제를 파헤치고 있다. 그리고 이 영화는 2차 세계대전 당시 24만명 이상의 장애를 가진 사람들을 조직적으로 죽음으로 내몰았던 당시 의학적 사회적 심적 경향에 대해서도 밝히고 있다.

This video documents the Nazi Regime horror with respect to its treatment of people with disabilities. Beginning with an overview of American and European Eugenics ideology, the filmmakers delved into the instruments of mass murder developed first on the bodies of people with disabilities and later transferred to concentration camps. The video provides a haunting glimpse into the medical and social mindset that led to the systematic killing of more than 240,000 individuals with disabilities during World War II.
